While most ferries do not offer onboard charging for electric vehicles, you'll typically find charging facilities at or near the port. We recommend planning your journey to make sure you have enough charge to get on and off the ferry and are aware of the closest charging points to your departure and arrival ports.
When you get to the port, you can ask if there's a place to charge your vehicle there or on board the ferry. If charging points are available, you might have to pay a small fee to use them, and we recommend you bring your own charging cable.
