Most ferry companies allow you to travel with your assistance or guide dog, and they are usually allowed in most areas on the ferry, including passenger areas.
When booking your ticket, click on pets and then choose guide dog, and we'll let you know if it's possible for the route you're searching for.
Remember to bring all necessary paperwork confirming that your dog meets the requirements of the Pet Travel Scheme and is certified by Assistance Dogs International (ADI) and the International Guide Dogs Federation (IDGF).
Emotional support animals are not officially recognised by these organisations like assistance and guide dogs currently are, so you'll need to book them as regular pets and follow the ferry company's pet travel policy.
Please contact us if you'd like more information about travelling with your assistance or guide dog.
In either case, make sure you select "Onboard Special Assistance" so that we can pass on your request to our dedicated team.
