The type of ID you'll need depends on your route and nationality. You can find out what ID you'll need in your confirmation email (near the bottom of the email, under 'important information'). Click here to send yourself a new copy.
If you haven't booked yet, here's some general advice. On most international routes, you will need a passport to travel. You can usually travel with any valid form of ID for domestic routes. However, there are some exceptions to this:
- If you're an EU citizen travelling in the EU, you can travel using a valid EU national identity card.
- You can use a valid photo ID if you're a British or Irish citizen travelling between Britain and Ireland.
If you're still unsure what ID you need, it's best to check the government websites for the country you're travelling to before you book your ticket. Googling 'Do I need a passport to travel to the country you're travelling to?' will give you links to the best resources for the information you need.
